Whatever
scale of model replicas you collect, whether it’s
produced in resin, diecast, die cast or die-cast, The Diecast
Magazine is definitely for you.
Issue
15 of The Diecast Magazine is available now and is better
than ever before, due to the recently implemented redesign.
It may have taken a little while, but with every facet of
the magazine freshened up, the wait was worth it as we look
forward to the future and some brilliant diecast model cars
set to be released during 2012.
The
Hot Wheels Elite 1/18 scale die cast model of the iconic
Ghostbusters ECTO-1 sets the stage on the front cover of
Issue 15 of The Diecast Magazine. This is complemented by
the 1/18 Hot Wheels Elite A-Team van and American Muscle
1/18 scale diecast Mach 5 Speed Racer car, with bonus Chim
Chim figurine which also features in this issue. Finally,
AUTOart’s Gran Turismo 5 stealth model car of the
Mazda 787B rounds out the TV and movie themed diecast model
car content featured in Issue 15 of The Diecast Magazine.
For
lovers of exotic sports cars, in model replica form, we
take you on a tour of the Hot Wheels Ferrari FF as well
as the AUTOart Aston Martin DB5 diecast model cars, both
produced in glorious 1/18 scale. For 1/43 scale collectors,
we review the end of year models release of Brooklin Models
as well as announce the upcoming Pontiac collection via
an interview with Brooklin’s Managing Director, Nigel
Parker.

Everyone
loves American classics and you will love the feature article
about Danbury Mint’s 1/24 scale 1956 Ford Skyliner
Convertible diecast model car. For horsepower-hungry collectors,
the review of American Muscle’s 1969 GTO Super Judge
is sure to satisfy the appetite, as will the review of the
GreenLight Collectibles 2011 Indianapolis 500 Champion driven
by Dan Wheldon.
As
always, there are always articles featured in The Diecast
Magazine that focus upon the hobby and industry of die cast
model collecting and in Issue 15 we provide a pictorial
wrap-up of the 2012 International Toy Fair held in Germany
early this year. We also feature an in-depth interview with
Motor City USA’s new owner, Jeff Thomas. Jeff takes
the time to answer our questions regarding the relaunch
of the brand and find out exactly what collectors can expect
in the future.

This
and much more awaits you in Issue 15, which is another sensational
issue of The Diecast Magazine. Shop Talk has you covered
with all of the latest news and new releases from around
the world. Collectors have their say in the Readers Page
and share their collections with all of us in the Collectors
Post. Of course, What’s Hot Online lists some of the
more notable secondary market trades sold at auction and
Diecast Surgery takes us to New Zealand where “Dr”
Rob Smith shows us one of his diecast customs modified to
match the 1:1 vehicle. Overall what else could you want?
It’s all in one magazine with the Diecast X factor,
The Diecast Magazine.
Issue
15 is available now at select die cast model dealers throughout
the North America, as well as Barnes and Noble bookstore,
and select, Hastings, Waldenbooks stores, and Indigo bookstores
throughout Canada.
